Its a very important discussion for every individual Karnataka People... and please dont ignore it...
There were days where people used to say NAMMA BENGALURU..NAMM JANA. But today people still say.. NAMMA BENGALURU..BERE JANA... I think the days are not too far away to say.. NOTHING!!!.. what to say... because in future i dont think Karnataka people do exist in Bangalore.
To Know History of Bengaluru http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangalore
Hey Guys.. My only intention is why should we lose all those glorious Histories of Banglore..Why should we lose all those Beautiful GardensWhy Should we lose all those Monuments.. Libraries...
OK Let me Explain.. And i dont think i should explain in Detail... Because you people would have realised this atleast once...
Being an Indian i dont say that "lets not allow any outsiders to live in banglore..".. Because we need every one , so as to progress... But because of this, what are the Issues we insiders are Facing
- We are not getting House for Rent: In most part of the Banglore.. All the house owners,PG Owners and Room mates.. are Outsiders.. and they too expect the people who come for accomodation should be of same place... also in other way.. most of us would want stay with people who are from karnataka only..But it has become very difficult to find ...
- We are Loosing the Language.. Our Language is been dominated by others becuase of growing Count of Outsiders
- We are Lossing the Lands
- Land Prices are growing to heights .. where today a common man is not able to reach his dreams of a small
- Because of high ratio of Outsiders , employment ratio for Karnataka people has dropped down
- Because of the increasing population and accomodation of outsiders in Banglore, we are loosing our culture and young minds are attracted towards others.
These are my very few.. and i could gather only these becuase of time constraint..But if this discussion is nourished by every individual like us... we can explore many more problems that we are facing... becuase of immigration...And if this immigration is not controlled in the earlist.. then definately.. Places outside banglore will also be the target.. and we know Mysore and Manglore are already running down..
My Suggestions to stop or slow down this are...
- VISB- Just Like VISA (VISITOR INTENTION TO STAY ABROAD), y cant we have VISB (VISITOR INTENTION TO STAY in Banglore) Lets Put the thoughts
- TOKKL- Just Like TOFEL (Test Of Foriegn English Language), TOKKL- (Test of Karnataka Kannada Language) Lets Put the thoughts
Dont think these are Silly.. Becuase Banglore is almost growing equal to OverSeas.. and its known all over the world...And if we dont take the decisions now.. then its true that we have to see "Independece of Banglore" History after another 300 years
Please add your suggestions/Comments/Issues which u have realised while u think about this... I have put this as a discussion becuase.. definately we know that, if the samething is discussed with any higher or stronger organization.. it would not be encouraged because of the strength...So lets make this discussion wide.. and make it clear there are people in BANGLORE(Karnataka) who thinks about Banglore

Good move Roshan......
ReplyDeleteEvery kannadiga should involve to make it a sucessfull event.
Good move Roshan....
ReplyDeleteEvery kannadiga should involve to make it a sucessfull event.
Continue with a same spirit.
The move is indisputable, but I would question the credibility of implementing such a criteria of VISB or TOKKL.
ReplyDeleteThere is no point bringing in all these until as a true kannadiga we do not trail on these
1. When ever u meet a kannadiga, make sure u converse in Kannada... Make sure u use sweet words with all due respect to the language
2. Talk to auto drivers, bust conductors, Shop keepers in Kannada. Do not respond to any one in the language they talk. This would at least make the other person realize on importance of learning our language
3. As a kannadiga prove to the entire outside community, we are respectful, peace loving and believe in our strengths.
I would want to see more movies like "Mungaru male" made, I was loving the fact that every person, be it a tamilian , a mallu , a northy murmuring the songs....

Hi Guys i would like to share this website ..
ReplyDeletehttp://nammabengaluru.com/blog1/
Its really a nice thought. I too had the thought.. but i never took a chance to express.. Its a good platform.. and i would really like to put my support in discussion...
ReplyDeleteI like it Roshan. Good initiative and much needed one.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sunil. All we need to do is whereever it is possible we should converse in KANNADA only.
Yeah, Cinema is a good platform to promote our language, so we should support kannda movies and should insist for good movies.
And we should look for opportunities and try to grab most of them before it is going to be taken by some non-kannadiga. We should be proactive and make sure that all the possible chances are utilized to the max by us.
The Intension Behind this Blog is really Good.but Awarness should start from our's.we should not leave our culture, tradition, language.Even we Kannadiga's talk in other languages, then how can we expect others to learn Kannada.
ReplyDeleteIf we go for Shopping malls we know that almost people working in shops are Kannadiga's but still we hesitate to communicate in Kannada. If you Visit TamilNadu You will feel the difference.
Its Very difficult to Create VISB,TOKKAL and all....even still we could not find election ID card for all voters.
If we made like this regional Imbalance may happen.(ex : Coorg people asking to make their own state, this happend few years back)
In the Critical situations Its very difficult to handle alone as Karnataka or Bangalore.
We kannda people should attend Programmes like Bengalooru Habba and Kadalekayi Parishe etc these are all the small things which we will come to Know Bangaluru is rich in all aspects.
Thanks
Anil
Think Globally.Act Locally.
hey great move kano...the things u told about VISB and TOKKL are really encouraging..may be the only way i think we can do all the reforms is enter into politics clean it up first, become CM of karnataka and do all these things...Have u people observed...most of TOP level people in any institutions are outsiders...till today i dont know the reason for this...
ReplyDeleteGood idea Roshan.... It would be great if government supports to implement TOKKL (Test of Karnataka Kannada Language), wherever we go within Bangalore we should converse in KANNADA only.
ReplyDeleteGood one..
ReplyDelete->"Hats off" for your wonderful suggestions regarding VISB and TOKKL.
ReplyDelete->Myside suggestion1(save culture): Bengaluru has its own rich and cultural value...we just need to save it..
->Myside suggestion2(save language): "Dont change your language to some other language when you are in karnataka(specially bengaluru)..
Instead teach all the other people kannada and communicate with them in our language..."
Whereever we go these days Maharastra,Tamil nadu, Andra etc ...People over there are more focused on their regional language.
We too have a wide range of kannada speaking people spread out in entire city..
But, I really dont understand why people hesitate to speak kannada in their own state...
'People'…..Feel free to speak kannada in ur own state....."BE PROUD THAT U ARE KANNADIGA"
->Myside suggestion3(save music): Please save the cultural music.
To be more precise carnatic, hindustani music and the bengaluru habba..which we see having a diminished value in Bengaluru..
Listen to those music along with your other fav music also...
Try to participate in a crowd...Get Your friends from other states too along with you ..
so that let them know what Bengaluru is ...HOW UNITED WE ARE...
Best Quote I would like to share.
"The best way to get something done is to begin… "
...Start your year 2009 with a mindset that "WE WILL SAVE BENGALURU AND ITS CULTURE."
Regards,
Bhakti.
